Mrs. Marlene Puccinelli teaches music in grades K-8, directs the junior and senior choirs, organizes the music and is the accompanist for the weekly school Mass and all liturgies and ceremonies such as graduation and First Communion. Students in grades 2-8 are taught the recorder and how to read music. She teaches all music for the Christmas Pageant and the Spring Concert.

Piano lessons are available to individual students after school. The school also started a band which is open to all students and meets once a week after school.

We have adopted religious music standards for each grade and our students are expected to know key songs by heart by the time they graduate. These songs include Gregorian chants, Marian hymns, and more modern songs. Students from the upper grades act as cantors at the weekly Mass and at school liturgies.

Students in grades three through eight may participate in choir. The choir sings at Mass on the first Sunday of the month, at weekly school Mass, at the Christmas and Spring Programs, and at various other functions. Practice is usually held after Wednesday school dismissal.
