Auction Gala

Our Annual Auction Gala is the school’s largest fundraiser. Each year the event features a “themed” evening with delicious cuisine, entertainment and many great silent and live auction items to bid on. These contributions are immeasurable in how they support and enhance the mission of our school. Join us for an exciting evening of fun and fellowship to benefit our children.

The ABVM Garden Gala on October 13, 2018 marks the 20th anniversary of our school’s auction fundraising event, benefiting the students of Assumption School.
We would greatly appreciate your support as we work towards creating an amazing event that will help to provide our children with the materials, opportunities, and experiences that make Assumption School unique.

2018 FUNDRAISING GUIDELINES

Each school family is required to meet the 2018 family fundraising allotment of $100 towards the Annual Auction Gala. Your minimum $100 donation may be made through one of the following:

1. CASH DONATION
· Receive 100% fundraising credit for total amount
· Checks payable to “Assumption School”

2. GIFT DONATION
· Minimum total retail value of $100
· Only new and unused items will be accepted. Items may be handmade, purchased or donated by stores and businesses through your own procurement.
· Gift donations must be accompanied by a completed donation form.
· Gift donations with no receipt or proof of comparable value will not be given credit.
· A single item donation must have a minimum value of $100. Multiple items must be combined to create a themed basket or bundled gift with a minimum total value of $100.
· Families making a gift donation will receive fundraising credit only if their donated gift receives a winning bid. If no bids are made on your donated gift, no credit will be given and your gift will be returned.
· Families will receive a fundraising credit equal to 50% of the winning bid amount made on their donated gift. For example, if you donate a $100 gift, and the winning bid for that gift is $150, you will receive $75 school fundraising credit.
· Gift donations received in the school office on or before Friday, Sept. 14, will earn students in your family a Free Dress Pass.

3. ADVERTISEMENT
· Placement in the 2018 Auction Program and Catalogue
· Receive 100% fundraising credit for total amount

4. SPONSORSHIP
· Receive 100% fundraising credit for total amount

Donations to ABVM are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.
All cash and gift donations, advertisements and sponsorships must be received on or before Friday, September 28, 2018.

Additional fundraising credit can be obtained through these Auction Gala sponsored activities:
1. Paddle Raise Donations: Receive fundraising credit for 100% of total amount of paddle raises

2. Silent Auction: Bid winners will receive fundraising credit equal to 50% of the amount of their winning bids

3. Live Auction: Bid winners will receive fundraising credit equal to 50% of the amount of their winning bids

4. Buy-In Party: Receive fundraising credit for 100% of total amount of purchase

5. Heads or Tails: Receive fundraising credit for 100% of total amount of participating ticket

6. Insta Bar Raffle: Receive fundraising credit for 100% of total amount of raffle card

7. Raffle Ticket Sale: Receive fundraising credit for 100% of total amount of raffle tickets sold

8. InstaBar Donation:
· Receive fundraising credit for 100% of total value of donation.
· Only new and unused items will be accepted.
· InstaBar donations must be accompanied by a completed donation form.
· InstaBar donations with no receipt or proof of comparable value will not be given credit.
