CERTIFICATE OF MERIT

CHRISTIAN SERVICE

To earn the Certificate of Merit in Christian Service, you must do all of the following during a three-month period of time.

1. Project Plan:

Choose a community service project. Complete a project plan and discuss it with your advisor.

2. Project:

Complete at least 15 hours of community service and keep a journal.

3. Write a Report:

A) What was the project?
B) What was its impact on the community?
C) How did you feel during and after your project was completed?
D) What would you have repeated or done differently if you were going to do another project?

4. Photo Presentation:

Create a still picture presentation of your community service project.

5. Video Presentation:

Create a video about your area of service. The video should show you explaining why you chose this area of service, actual footage of your community service, as well as explanation of what you learned from your experience.
